My Legal Services
For NIL Athletes.
That NIL contract in front of you? It was written to protect the brand, agency, or collective who sent it — not you. I provide independent legal services exclusively for student-athletes — reviewing, drafting, and fighting for contract terms that protect you. If you have an NIL agent or manager, I work alongside them — they handle finding the deal and negotiating your pay, I handle the contract language. If you don't have one, I can refer you to a trusted representative who can. Either way, my only job is protecting you.
You have an NIL contract in front of you and need to know what it says, what it means, and whether the terms actually protect you.
I read every word — line by line — identifying risky terms, missing protections, vague language, and anything that could hurt you, limit your future opportunities, or affect your eligibility. Then I contact the brand, agency, or collective directly and push for better terms on your behalf — going back and forth as many times as it takes until the contract actually protects you. You won't sign anything you don't fully understand, and you'll never have to negotiate with the other side yourself.
Note: I negotiate contract language only — not your compensation, payment amount, or deal structure. That's your agent's or manager's role. If you don't have an NIL agent or manager, I can refer you to a trusted representative who can handle that side of the deal.
A deal has been agreed to — verbally or otherwise — but nothing is in writing yet.
Verbal promises don't protect you. I take the terms that have been discussed and draft a formal written contract from scratch — one that clearly reflects what was agreed to and is built to hold up if anything goes wrong.
Your existing NIL deal is expiring and a renewal is being offered — with new or updated terms.
A renewal isn't just a formality — it's a new contract with new terms that deserve the same scrutiny as the original. I review every change, identify what's different from the original agreement, and make sure the new version still protects you before you sign again.
Something has gone wrong after you signed — missed payments, broken promises, or terms being used against you.
Many NIL contracts require disputes to be resolved through arbitration — a formal legal process outside of court. I advise you on your rights, represent you through the process, and fight for your interests every step of the way. When something goes wrong, you won't face it alone.
Note: What is arbitration? A formal hearing where both sides present their case and an independent decision is made — required by many NIL contracts instead of going to court.
